The Gentle Art of Making

Gentle Bookbinding is devoted to animal-free craftsmanship rooted in care, tradition, and respect for nature.

Inspired by time-honored techniques and deep love of the natural world, every journal, hand-bound work, and nature inspired print is created with intention, patience, and ethical materials.

At the Heart of My Work

The heart of my work lies in rebinding well-loved books and creating eco-printed journals for writing and sketching.

Alongside these pieces, I also explore nature-inspired printmaking designs that reflect the same gentle philosophy.

What I Create

  • Handcrafted book with vegan leather cover and gold foil detailing on a wooden workbench.

    Book Rebinding

I carefully rebind classical and well-loved books using vegan leather and entirely animal-free materials. Each volume is transformed into a one-of-a-kind work of art, crafted with respect for both tradition and nature.

  • Eco-printed journal with botanical leaf and berry impressions on fabric cover, placed on a wooden workspace.

    Eco-Printing & Journals

My handmade journals are wrapped in fabric that has undergone a botanical printing process, where the shapes and hues of plants are gently transferred onto the cloth. Each piece preserves a fleeting seasonal moment of nature in a lasting, functional work of art.

  • Rose petal monoprints on textured paper with soft pink tones, shown in a printmaking workspace.

    Monoprinting & Ghost Prints

My monoprints are created using layered paints and natural objects gathered from the landscape. A ghost print is a softer second impression made from the remaining pigment left on the plate after the first print is lifted. Each print is one of a kind.
